Rosa Testa Hahn, 87, passed from this life unexpectedly on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born on January 21, 1934 in Naples, Italy, daughter to the late Raffaelle Testa and Anna Lama Testa. She was married to Kenneth Eugene Hahn on March 23, 1955 in Naples, Italy.
Rosa was known for her skill and expertise in cooking and serving authentic Italian meals. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid UK Basketball fan. Being a member of the Catholic Faith, Rosa was a member of the St. Mildred’s Catholic Church. She was a loving, generous and kind-hearted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by six sisters; Teresa Testa Amitrano, Eda Testa, Flora Testa Hutchinson, Elena Testa Justilian, Maria Testa Foret and Adelaide Testa Prejean, two brothers; Mario Testa and Giuseppe Testa, a sister-in-law; Jeanette Hahn (Charles) Ping.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory three sons; Gary Dean Hahn, Tony Ray (Bobbie) Hahn and Terry William (Rebecca) Hahn all of Somerset, Three grandchildren; Allison Michelle Hahn (Chuck) Sobieck, Christopher William Hahn and Anna Elizabeth Hahn (Jordan) Milby all of Somerset, and five great-grandchildren; Charles Julien Sobieck, Rae Elizabeth Sobieck, Margaret Katherine Sobieck, Henry Jordan Milby and Eleanor Rose Milby, as well as a host of other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 2 pm on Friday, September 17, 2021 in the Chapel of Somerset Undertaking Company. The Funeral Service will be private with interment in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
