Virginia Orman

Virginia D. Orman, age 70, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on May 17, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Virginia was born on October 16, 1953 to the late Mark Durbin and Virginia Howard Durbin in Beattyville, Kentucky.

She was of the Catholic faith. She loved UK Basketball and the Cincinnati Reds. Ginny loved spending time with her family and with her fur baby “Baby Blue.” Family meant everything to her.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Virginia Durbin and infant twin granddaughters, Bailey Faith and Bethany Paige Dick.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her soul mate, Kenneth D. Orman of Louisville, Ky; her daughter, Shannon Dick (David) of Somerset, Ky; brother, James Mark of Beattyville, Ky; sisters: Sonia Bradley of CA; Susie Tipton (Bruce) of TN and Glenna Cummins (Thor) of Beattyville, Ky.

A private family graveside service will be held at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Virginia D. Orman.
