She was born in Albia, Kentucky on October 25, 1936; daughter of the late Raymond and Stella (Pumphrey) Warren. She graduated from Eubank High School in May 1954. She was employed by the Palm Beach Company, followed by the Mi-Marker Company in Ferguson; and later by Oakwood for 18-1/2 years until her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed crocheting, playing computer games, planting flowers, and traveling. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Somerset.
She is survived by her husband, Donald whom she married on December 24, 1955; two sons, Marlon & (Daryl) Carter of Laquey, MO and Donnie Carter of Somerset; a daughter, Marla & (Rick) Harris of Somerset; three grandsons, Derek Harris, Shane Harris, and Milo Carter; a granddaughter, Dana Carter York; and six great-grandchildren a brother, Victor & (Rachel) Warren of Waynesburg; and a sister Fonda Singleton of Eubank.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Morris Warren and Marvin Warren who were stillborn; and a brother-in-law, Lester Singleton.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Friday, May 10, 2024 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Danny McKibben officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
