Troy Coleman, age 80 of Nancy KY, departed this life on January 24, 2011 at his residence.

He was born on July 5, 1930 in Kimper, KY to the late Roy and Daisey Thornsbury Coleman. Mr. Coleman was a mine inspector for the Mine Safety & Health Administration, member of White Oak Baptist Church in Nancy, KY, a member of the Seivers Masonic Lodge #491, Scottish Rite, Valley of Covington, and member of the Oleika Shrine of Lexington, KY.

Mr. Coleman is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Lois Ann Jones Coleman of Nancy, KY; two sons, Rocky G. Coleman (and wife, Vickie) of Kimper, KY and Steve Coleman of Pikeville, KY; three daughters, Joann Insunza of Monrovia, CA, Diann Blair (and husband, Larry) of Tahlequah, OK, and Paula Avetisian (and husband, Art) of Knoxville, TN; ten grandchildren, Mark (and Lisa) Avetisian, Tanya (and Keith) Tackett, Larry Blair Jr., Sandra Blair, Jacquelyn Insunza, Carolyn Insunza, Carlos Insunza, Joshua Henson, Mitchell Coleman, and Troy Nathan Coleman; five great grandchildren, Hunter Tackett, Jachob Avetisian, Anna Grace Avetisian, Gabriel Blair, and MaKenna Henson; three brothers, Jackson Coleman (and wife, Betty) of Kimper, KY, Delmar Coleman (and wife, Ann) of Cicero, IL, and Raymond Coleman (and wife, Sue) of Lawton, OK; two sisters, Opal Dimbleton of Powhatan, VA and Nellie Dunahoe of Radcliff, KY; and his stepmother, Minnie Coleman of Kimper, KY.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Teddy and Tommy Coleman and a sister, Barbara Sue Coleman.

Visitation for Mr. Troy Coleman will be Friday, January 28th at 6:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset. Masonic rites will be conducted by the Seivers Lodge #491 at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 29th at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. James Floyd and Bro. Reggie Tipton officiating. Entombment will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Somerset, KY.

The family requests expression of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, KY 42503 and/or American Cancer Society, 402 Coomer Street, Somerset, KY 42501.
