Thomas Shadoan

Estle “Tom” Thomas Shadoan, age 86, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his residence.

Tom was born on May 10, 1934 in Somerset, KY., to the late Estle Shadoan and Hester Worley Shadoan. He attended Chesterview Baptist Church. He enjoyed collecting coins, jars, and antiques. He was a longtime employee of Modern Vending working there for over 50 years.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Thomas Shadoan of Indianapolis, IN and Derek Estle (and Julia) Shadoan of Bowling Green, KY; one grandchild, Katie Shadoan and one sister, Shirley Ford of Ferguson, KY.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Thomas Shadoan whom he married on October 30, 1960 in Somerset and she preceded him on April 8, 2016; and two brothers, John Shadoan and Bill Shadoan.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

His funeral service will follow on Saturday at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Norman Harper officiating.  Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
