Thomas "Tommy" Allen Golden, age 65, of Somerset, passed from this life on Friday, April 29, 2016, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital

Tommy was born on August 20, 1950, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, son of Thomas Henry and Dorothy Virginia Masters Golden.

He married Melba McCormick, in Stilwell, Oklahoma, on January 20, 1969. Tommy worked as manager over 40 years for Super X/CVS Pharmacy. He enjoyed being outdoors; going camping and fishing. Tommy loved taking care of his family. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Golden, of Alix, Arkansas; his wife, Melba Golden; his daughters, Melissa Ann Layton, of Nancy, and Tonya Lynn (and Scott) Watkins, of Science Hill; his special sons, Jamie Tomlison, of Somerset, and Jason Johnson, of Nancy; his brother, Paul Richard (and Libby) Golden, of Clarksville, Arkansas; his sister, Dorothy Archer, of Ozark, Arkansas; his five grandchildren, Thomas Golden, Alexanderia Rose, Roman Tomlison, Jaymme Lynn Tomlison and Amber Barnett; and two great-grandchildren, Adalynn Golden and Harmony Cook.

Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Henry Golden.

Visitation will be Monday, May 2, 2016, after 5:00 p.m., in Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Garry Wilson officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Golden, Scott Watkins, Jamie Tomlison, Jason Johnson, James "Buster" Aguilar and Johnny Jones.
