Thomas Wayne "Tommy" Briscoe, age 62, of Somerset, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 31, 2016.
Tommy was born on February 23, 1954, in Hamilton, Ohio, son of the late Elbridge and Mary French Briscoe. He married Teresa Gabbard on April 4, 1992, in Hamilton, Ohio. Tommy was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Tommy was a car enthusiast; he enjoyed drag racing and car shows. He enjoyed working with and being involved in children and youth groups. He was very active in charities and helping others.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa; his brothers, Timmy Briscoe, of Fairfield, Ohio, and Dwight (and Anita) Briscoe and Lee Briscoe, both of Somerset; and his sister, Tammy (and Bennett) Lewis, of Sommerville, Ohio. Preceding Tommy in death are his parents.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 3, 2016, after 11:00 a.m., at Grace Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will follow the visitation, at 2:00 p.m., Friday, at Grace Baptist Church, with Pastor Bill Haynes officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the Grace Baptist Church Building Fund, 340 Oak Leaf Lane, Somerset, KY 42503.
