Steve Cain

Steven Lewis Cain, age 63, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Steve was born on March 18, 1959 in Somerset, KY to the late James Cain and Freda Beshears Cain.  He attended Oak Hill Baptist Church.  Steve enjoyed hunting and going to Dirt Track races.  He loved his dog Bristol.

He is survived by three sons, Chris (Jamie) Cain, Jeremy (Jodona) Cain and Stephen (Christina) Cain; one brother, J.C. (Jami) Cain; eleven grandchildren, Alexandra (Travis) Wade, Aislyn Cain, Bennett Cain, Lilee Alexander, Ashley Burton, Dylan Cain, Rylan Cain, Karissa Cain, Kelbi Cain, Kolten Cain and Kasin Cain; one great grandson, Colt Nevels; and other family members.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Glenna Lane.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

His funeral service will follow on Monday at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. David Skaggs officiating.  Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
