Scotty Noe

Scotty Lynn Murphy Noe, age 77 of Somerset, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Scotty was born on November 27, 1946 at Somerset, KY to Johnny Murphy and Pearl Lee Edwards Murphy.  She married Juil Noe on June 20, 1968 and they shared almost 57 years of marriage.  Scotty was a longtime member and piano player at Cumberland Baptist Church and previously an active member at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  She was a 1965 graduate of Pulaski County High School where she was Captain of the Cheerleading Squad.  Scotty was a Bus Driver for Pulaski County Board of Education for 23 years,  and served on the Pulaski  County Cemetery Board.  She enjoyed working in her Daylilies but her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Scotty is survived by her husband, Juil Noe; three sons, Jody (Sonya) Noe, Toby Noe and Johnny Noe, all of Somerset;  one daughter-in-law, Frances Noe of Nicholasville;  six granddaughters,  Brittany (Stephan) McKee, Tiffany Noe, Megan Noe, Emily Noe, Madison Noe and Sequoia Noe; four great grandchildren, Asher McKee, Daniel McKee, Elijah McKee and Brielle McKee;  one brother, Darrell (Wanda) Murphy of Somerset; two nephews, Doug Murphy and Brian Murphy;  many special friends including Kris Wright, Jacqueline Helton, Josh Hall and Kate Troyer;  extended family members, neighbors and friends who are saddened by her passing.      

In addition to her parents, Johnny and Pearl Murphy,  Scotty was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ira and Bertha Edwards; and one son, Donny Noe who passed away on July 11, 2010.

Visitation for Scotty Lynn Noe will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm  and on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Hwy 80, Somerset, KY  42503.   

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Ridner, Bro. Gary Whitaker and Bro. Pete Payne officiating.  Burial will be at  Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
