James Loveless

James Loveless, age 83, of Somerset, departed this life on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at his residence.
James was born on November 29, 1931, in the Cains Store Community, to the late Ottis and Nina Dye Loveless. He was a farmer, worked in construction, and was a retired foreman for the Pulaski County Road Department. James married Dean Loveless, in Somerset, on December 31, 1978. He was a member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dean; two daughters, Sharon Dodson and Melanie (and Tim) Diamond, both of Somerset; seven brothers, Doug (and Carole) Loveless, of Nancy, Gale (and Bessie) Loveless, of Nancy, Louie Loveless, of Science Hill, Leon (and Linda) Loveless, of New Castle, Indiana, Curt (and Chris) Loveless, of Nancy, Howard Loveless, of Nancy, and Marvin (and Geraldine) Loveless, of Hartford City, Indiana; two sisters, June Tarter, of Nancy, and Carrie Marnhout, of Whitley City; a sister-in-law, Gisela Loveless, of Westland, Michigan; four grandchildren, Angela (and Daniel) Epperson, of Somerset, Michael Dodson, of Berea, Ashley (and Aaron) Vaught, of Lexington, and Adam Diamond, of Columbus, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Griffin, Gracie, Grady and Greer Epperson, all of Somerset; and numerous nieces and nephews.
James is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Weldon, Arthur, Marion, Dane, and infant brother, Doyle; brothers-in-law, Oren Tarter and Bill Marnhout; and sisters-in-law, Erdean Loveless, Patricia Loveless, Doris Loveless and Mary Loveless.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 7, 2015, after 5:00 p.m., at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Donavon Burton officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
