Roger Reynolds

Roger Alan Reynolds, age 57, of Somerset, KY, departed this life on Monday, April 03, 2017 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center.

Roger was born on May 30, 1959 in Rockcastle County, KY to Mary Marie Pitman Reynolds and the late Charles Jackson Reynolds. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Roger was an avid UK basketball fan. He loved farming, gardening and his special dog, Molly.

He is survived by his mother, Marie Reynolds; two sisters, Sheryl (and "Doc") Mink of Somerset and Sheila Reynolds of Somerset; three nieces and nephews, Josh (and Angel) Mink, Ashley (and David) Hawk, and Hailey (and Kyler) Barnett; five great nieces and nephews, Emma Hawk, Alli Hawk, Maddox Mink, Haley Palmer and Caden Daugherty; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earl and Lizzie Pitman; and his paternal grandparents, Ancel and Lena Reynolds.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 7, 2017 after 6:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Cromer officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
