Rodney Glenn Whitis age 44 of Somerset, Kentucky went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 21, 2018 surrounded by family.
He was born on December 1, 1973 in Somerset, Kentucky. Rodney retired from the Pulaski County Road Department after seventeen years of service due to illness. He was a member of Eagle Heights Church and a member of Sievers Masonic Lodge #491.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri Roy Whitis and sister, Lorna Haynes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Carolyn Whitis and his brother in law, Don Haynes.
Visitation will be after 5:30 PM on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Pulaski Funeral Home. A Masonic service will be held at 7:00 PM.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
