Robert W. Cash, age 77, of Somerset passed away Friday, July 2, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Cash was born in Somerset, KY on July 22, 1932 to the late Carl R. & Rubie H. Leach Cash. He was a retired from General Electric in Somerset. Mr. Cash was an Air Force Veteran and a member of High Street Baptist Church.
Mr. Cash is survived by his wife, Nellie Alice Jean Davis Cash whom he married August 24, 1957 in Whitley City, KY; 2 sons, Robert M. (& Terrie) Cash, Stephen R. (& Sherry) Cash, both of Somerset; a daughter, Sheri J. (& James) Inman, Somerset; a brother, Henry L. Cash, South Carolina; a sister, Nell Ellington, Somerset and 8 grandchildren, Matthew Cash, Amy Cash, Nicky Cash, Josh Cash, Tyler Inman, Jordan Inman, Elizabeth Cash and Matt D. Cash.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by 3 sisters, Rubie M. Cash, Juanita Massey and Kathleen Street.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 5, 2010 at 11:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 W. Hwy 80, Somerset, KY.
Funeral services for Robert W. Cash will be held on Monday, July 5, 2010 at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at 1:00pm with Bro C.E. Jacobs and Bro. Ed Amundson officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to High St. Baptist Church Building Fund, 102 Bourne Ave. Somerset, KY 42501
