Retha Mounce the daughter of the late Della Judge was born at Mt. Victory, Kentucky on April 13, 1922 and departed this life at Sunrise Manor and Rehabilitation in Somerset, Kentucky on September 29,2010 having attained the age of 88 years.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Kenneth Mounce who preceded her in death on October 11, 1976.
Retha is Survived by Three daughters; Dorothy (and Carl) Price of Somerset, Lois Avera of Somerset and Linda (and Charles) Latham of Valley Oak, 16 grandchildren; Pete, Adrian, Donovan, Dennis, Terry, Bobby, Adam, Sean, Tonine, Krystal, Tammy, Sylvia, and Brittany Price, Kendra Avera, Monica (and Kevin) Wallace, and K.C. Latham. Nine great grandchildren; Carly, Hamilton, Malachi Price, Kaylee and Dakota Brown, Keisha and Rocky Carlotta, Morgan Avera and Kylee Wallace. She is also survived by one sister; Peggy (and James) Rein of Glendale, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her mother, husband, son-in law; Kenny Avera, one brother; Billy Judge and 3 grandchildren; Darren, Stephen, Christopher Eric Price.
She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Retha was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her, she leaves a host of relatives, friends, and church family who mourn her passing and celebrate her homegoing.
Funeral services for Retha Mounce will be Monday October 4, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Pace and Rev. Don Jones officiating.
Burial will follow at the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family of Mrs. Retha Mounce will receive friends after 5:00 p.m. Sunday October 3, 2010 at Pulaski Funeral Home.
The family request expressions of sympathy to the Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund.
Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
