Patti Nolan

Patti Louise Snawder Nolan, 75, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born on March 9, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Carl and Margaret Geneva Hoffman Snawder. She was a retired owner and operator of Nolan Trucking Co. Patti was a very strong independent person, who fought a valiant battle. She loved giving her talents to special charities such as the "9/11 Quilt", cool ties for the troops and outfits for NICU babies. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by two sons, Kenny & (Diane) Kingsbury of Lousiville, KY, and Johnie & (Lisa) Kinder of Akron, OH, five daughters, Carrin Kingsbury of Enterprise, AL, Lynn Herberschoff of Chicago Heights, IL, Kathy Foster of Somerset, KY, Vickie & (Russell) Litterell of Millington, TN, and Jerri & (John) Kelley of West Union, WV, two sisters, Margaret Carlene Pearl and Mary Allene "Bobbi" Villarreal both of Somerset, eleven grandchildren, Brian, Kelsey, Taylor, Jimmy, Katherine, Andrea, Joshua, Rebecca, Jarod, Drew, Shanea, nine great-grandchildren, Ellie, Gage, Alex, Chris, Aaleigha, Ethan, Conner, Sophie, Kobe and two very dear friends, Sue Bumgardner and Julie Parish. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Nolan and her parents. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday February 28, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
