Nancy McClendon, age 61, of Somerset, KY, departed this life on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Nancy was born on March 29, 1954 in Bronston, KY to the late Estil Martin and Leona Decker Martin. She loved camping, cooking, riding motorcycles and cookouts. Nancy especially loved spending time with her family and her dog, "Toby".

She is survived by her husband, Donnie McClendon, whom she married in Nancy, KY on September 1, 2001; two daughters, Stacey (and Justin) Lowery of Somerset, KY and Heather (and Joe) Roberts of Burnside, KY; a stepson, Trevor (and Tabitha) McClendon of Bronston, KY; three stepdaughters, Stephanie McClendon of Bowling Green, KY, Stacy (and Dave) Sandlin of Hamilton, OH and Tradon (and Dustin) Warren of Nancy, KY; three brothers, Wayne (and Judy) Martin of Somerset, KY, Sam (and Melinda) Martin of Tateville, KY and Russell (and Monieva) Martin of Cedar Grove, KY; two sisters, Connie (and Jimmy) Burton of Somerset, KY and Cindy (and Barry) New of Somerset, KY; fifteen grandchildren, LeAnna Lowery, J.D. Lowery, Austin Flynn, Kayla Roberts, Heather Mattingly, Destiny Mattingly, Savanna Bradley, Audrea Bradley, Katlin Overbey, Olivia Sandlin, Isaac McClendon, Isabelle McClendon, Emma McClendon, Ella McClendon and Marcus Warren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Martin; and a sister, Betty Sellers.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 after 6:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Harris officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Lake Cumberland Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Nancy McClendon.
