Myra Gail Morgan Bowser, age 65, of Dayton, went to be with Jesus on June 9, 2021. She was born at Miami Valley Hospital on March 8, 1956, the daughter of Erasmus Morgan and Emma Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Erasmus Morgan.
Myra is survived by her beloved husband, Ralph Bowser; mother, Emma Morgan; and brother, Rich Morgan (Teri); sister-in-law, Renee Bowser; two aunts, June (Claude) Crum and Lorene (Conrad) Garrison; one uncle, Melvin (Fern) Baker; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews and one special God-son, Darren Gambrell; and many friends.
She was a member of Bethel Christian Assembly of God for many years.
Myra gave her life to Jesus as a young girl. As a teenager, Myra participated in Bible quiz, was CA (youth) president, sang in the Bethel Temple choir, and was in Teen Tempa, a traveling singing group.
Myra graduated from Park Hills High School in 1974 and from Wright State University in 1978 with Honors.
In 1982, Myra married her husband of 38 1/2 years, Ralph Bowser. Myra was a youth counselor for 6 years. She taught grade school for 17 years and taught adults for 4 years.
Myra was extremely gifted in many areas. Besides singing, Myra arranged flowers, loved to paint, enjoyed her flower garden and Myra loved decorating (especially at Christmas).
Myra had a smile and words of encouragement for anyone in need.
Myra led many people to the Lord Jesus Christ, both by her words and her kindness.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-6:00pm, on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Bethel Christian Assembly of God, 327 S. Smithville Rd., Dayton, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held immediately following the Visitation at 6:00pm, at the church, officiated by Pastor Dan Brown. Burial will be held at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Somerset, Kentucky, on Monday, June 21, 2021, at 2pm.
