Millard Warren, age 94, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life into the presence of Jesus on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born February 11, 1928 to the late George and Maggie Hall Warren.
Millard did not have children of his own, but he was a father to many who loved him dearly. He was a Christian who loved Jesus and played music in churches for many years. He was a member of the Denham Street Baptist Church and continued to play guitar in their worship services as long as he was able. Millard worked at General Electric in Cincinnati, Ohio for several years before moving back to Pulaski County, where he was self-employed. He made a positive difference in the lives of many young people who will forever be grateful for him.
Millard is survived by his wife of 20 years, Nora Warren, Step-Daughter Michelle (Norman) Anderson, step-grandchildren Auburn Wallace, Caitlin Jones, and Amanda Anderson, and one sister, Jolly Luttrell, plus a host of nephews, nieces, and friends who mourn his passing.
Along with his parents, Millard was preceded in death by his first wife, Stella Bullock Warren, six brothers: Hershel, William, Willard, James, Thomas, and Ernest Warren, and six sisters: Viola Mink, Katherine Bullock, Helen White, Virginia Mae Warren, Anna Warren, and Joyce Lee Warren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 12:00pm at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Bro. David Bullock will officiate the service.
