Mary Withers

Mary Jane Withers, 78, passed away in the early morning of Sunday, April 5, 2020. Mary was born on September 24, 1941 to the late Clay and Eva (Kissee) Weddle in Somerset, Kentucky.

Mary was a licensed practical nurse and worked primarily in Lexington area nursing homes. She served with her husband Donald in Ministry for over 50 years as a pastor's wife.

Mary is survived by her sons, Jeff Withers and Royce (Cori) Withers; brothers, Eugene (Lucy) Weddle and Paul (Donna) Weddle; sister, Alfreda “Alfie” Daulton, and grandchildren, Kyle Withers, Jesi Ebelhar, and Ashleigh Bushinski. In addition to her parents and loving husband, Reverend Donald Withers, Mary was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Greta Jane Withers; brothers, Stanley and Lloyd Weddle, and her sister, Drucella Jordan.

Milward Funeral Directors are entrusted with the service arrangements for Ms. Withers. A private ceremony and graveside service will commence with a celebration of Mary’s life to be scheduled for a time when friends and family may gather together.
