Marsha Rogers

Marsha Lynn Rogers, 61 of Nancy, KY, went home to heaven at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Marsha was born in Oliver Springs, TN on April 2, 1954 to Everett Rogers, who survives, and the late Zella Stevenson Rogers.

Marsha was a charter member of Mill Springs Fellowship Church. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Lincoln Memorial University. Marsha taught at the Nancy Elementary School for 13 years. She also worked as a CNA for Somerset City Hospital and Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Marsha loved her family, teaching, playing piano and children. She also enjoyed writing poetry and songs.

Marsha is survived by her father, Everett Rogers (Joyce); brothers, Jim Rogers (Belinda) and Mark Rogers (Jolene); sister, Joyce Randall; nephew, Kyle Rogers; nieces, Jodona Cain (Jeremy), Marla Williams (Ben), Joni Ridner (Justin), Mindy Martin (Sam) and Amber Troxtle (JD); and ten great nephews and nieces.

Visitation for Marsha Lynn Rogers will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Nancy Funeral Home and on Friday, March 18, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Mill Springs Fellowship Church.

A celebration honoring the life of Marsha Lynn Rogers will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 11:00 am at Mill Springs Fellowship Church with Bro. Stanley Stevenson and Bro. Mark Rogers officiating.

Interment will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
