Marie "Sissy" Daulton, age 76, of Nancy, KY., departed this life on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Marie was born on June 8, 1941 in Vinnie, KY., to the late Arvil and Lucy Carrender McClendon. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved her family, friends, and watching her grandkids play. She also liked to go four wheeling. Marie had a beautiful spirit and smile, and her family was her sole purpose in life. She was proud of her extended family, her nieces and nephews, and her beloved dogs, Baylie and Payton.
She is survived by one daughter, Tamara Daulton of Nancy, KY., and her grandchild, Jarred Daulton, and other young'uns, David Aiello and Shania Troxell.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Daulton, a son, Charles Gregory Daulton, and five brothers, Edward McClendon, Earl McClendon, Furl McClendon, Windle McClendon, and Eugene McClendon.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will follow at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Josh McClendon officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
