Margaret Jearlene Morris, age 82, of Somerset, KY, departed this life on Thursday, October 06, 2016 at the Russell County Hospital.
Margaret was born on February 18, 1934 in McCreary County to the late Billy Bryant and Mary Vanover Bryant.
She is survived by her sons, Sammy Wade Morris of Nancy, KY, John Edward (and Pamela) Morris of Mobile, AL, Jacob Morris of Somerset, KY and Gary Lawson of Mt. Washington, KY; her daughters, Diane (and Ron) Galloway of St. Louis, MO, Elaine (and Paul) Barnes of Mobile, AL, Jan Morris of Pensacola, FL, and Tammy (and Jerry) Todd of Burnside; her brothers, Jay Bryant, Lloyd Bryant, and Gerald Bryant all of McCreary County; her sisters, Maxine Hickson of Homes Acre Spring, FL, Ruth Ann Lay of Nashville, TN and Linda LaFavers of Somerset; along with twenty grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Barron; a grandson, Derick Harrison; four brothers, Eugene Bryant, Sammy Bryant, Bobby Bryant and William D. Bryant, and two sisters, Erma Bryant and Sue Tappley.
A visitation will be on Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Mullins officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
