Marc McPheron

Marc Anthony "Tony" McPheron, 74, from Somerset, KY, passed away at Southern Ohio Medical Hospice Care Center on Oct. 14, 2015. He was a recent resident of Flemingsburg, KY, and a current resident of Golden Living Nursing Home in Vanceburg, Ky. Tony was born on Dec. 3, 1940, to the late Lola and Herbert A. McPheron.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, Velma Ruth McPheron Dalton, Samuel Alvis McPheron, Vernon McPheron, Harold McPheron, Nancy McPheron Davis, Louis McPheron, Leonard McPheron and John McPheron. All were born and raised in the Pulaski County, KY area.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Charlotte Clary McPheron. Also, two of his brothers, Herbert A. McPheron, Jr, and Charles McPheron; several nieces and nephews. Tony is also survived by his brother and sisters-in-law, Phyllis (Danny) Kearns, Dean (Robin) Clary and his caretakers, his brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Wilma Clary; and his niece, Bethany Clary.

During his life, he spent 37 years as a brickmason, 10 years as a head supervisor with construction, and four years as a business owner of a restaurant. He was known by his co-workers as "Sarge". He was a dedicated worker as well as a very loving husband.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 17, 2015, from 10 till 11:30 AM at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 3 PM Saturday at Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Somerset, KY.
