Leslie Diane "Sissy" Meece, 59, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at her residence.
She was born on June 18, 1956 in Somerset; daughter of Lowell Meece and the late Marlene Smiley Meece. She was a Pulaski Co. High School class of 1974 graduate. She worked for Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital as a Labor & Delivery Nurse, and a Nurse Auditor since 1976. She loved Cats and was a mom to every cat in the community. She was not only a big supporter, but worked diligently also on bringing K-LOVE Radio to this community. She was a member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her father, Lowell Meece; two sisters, Jennifer Harris and Tracey & (Mitchell) Wesley both of Somerset; and a special nephew, Zachary Wesley whom she loved to discuss history with.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Visitation for Leslie Diane "Sissy" Meece after 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home until time for funeral services.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Animal Shelter, or K-LOVE Radio.
