Lena Roberts

Lena Margaret Roberts, age 79, of Nancy, KY, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab.

Lena was born on September 4, 1940 in Somerset, KY, to the late Arthur Roberts and Alma Weddle Roberts. She worked at Oakwood for over twenty years.  Lena was a member of White Oak Baptist Church.  She loved her family, quilting, flowers and gardening.

She is survived by three sisters, Diana (and Al) Godbey of Cincinnati, OH, Mable (and Claude) Trimble of Nancy, KY and Leah Marie Lawson of Somerset, KY; and one sister-in-law, Lecreita Roberts of Nancy, KY.

Along with her parents, Arthur and Alma Roberts, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Roberts; one brother-in-law, Rev. Patrick Lawson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Her funeral service will follow on Monday at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Butt officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Cumberland Nursing and Rehab.
