Leland Combs

Leland R. Combs, age 78, of Nancy, KY, departed this life on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at his residence.

Leland was born on October 25, 1937 in Allock, KY in Perry County, to the late John Henry and Lonnie Bowen Combs. Leland retired as head custodian from Incarnation Parish in Centerville, OH. Upon retirement, Leland moved to the family farm in Nancy, KY, where he loved spending time with his family, and he continued to work on a daily basis on the farm.

He is survived by a sister, Juanita Perkins of Nancy, KY; two nieces, Cheryl Flynn of Nancy, KY, and Kim (and David) Schlatter of Springboro, OH; two nephews, Steve (and Teresa) Combs of Nancy, KY, and Mark Williams of Batesville, IN; four great nieces and nephews, Christy (and Jamie) Cox of Nancy, KY, Michael (and Jessica) Williams of Batesville, IN, Tarah (and Clay) Muntz of Nancy, KY, and Morgan Schlatter of Williamsburg, KY; four great-great nieces and nephews, Eli Muntz, Maxwell Williams, Grayson Cox, and Ella Kate Muntz.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, John Combs Jr.; a niece, Linnie Williams; and a nephew, Rodger Flynn.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
