Kenneth Lowell Norfleet, age 86, of Somerset, passed from this life on Saturday, October 01, 2016, at his residence.
Kenneth was born on May 18, 1930, in Hamilton, Ohio, son of the late Lewis L. and Louada Hopper Norfleet. He was a veteran, serving his country in the United States Navy. Kenneth married Anna Louise Taylor on June 13, 1959. He was a self-employed truck driver, delivering milk for the Southern Belle Company for many years. He was a member of Duke Memorial Baptist Church and was a member of the Gideons and the Masons.
He is survived by Anna, his wife of 57 years; his son, David (and Eduardo) Norfleet; his daughter, Beckie Keeney; his brother, Larry Norfleet; his sister, Geraldine Wilson; four grandchildren, Scott, Chris, Kevin and Max; and three great-grandchildren, Maggie, Aiden and Hatterus.
Preceding Kenneth in death are his parents; his brother, Lewis Norfleet, Jr.; and his sister, Vivian Gueterman.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., in Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will follow the visitation on Wednesday, at 12:00 noon, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Randy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the Gideons International for Bible placement.
