June Stewart

Mrs. June Stewart, age 83, of Somerset, Kentucky daughter of the late Charles Walker and Maggie (Helton) Smith was born on June 20, 1927 in Spring Creek, Kentucky and departed this life on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
June is survived by her husband; C.B. Stewart, a son; Darcy (and Connie) Stewart and daughter; Pam Groves. Other survivors include four grandchildren; Jesse (and Tory) Stewart, Lindsay (and Robert) Jansen, Wesley Stewart, Shawn Groves, and the following brothers and sisters; Herman "Les" (and Barbara) Smith, Herbert (and Nancy) Smith, Mae Bowling and leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and friends who all mourn her passing.
June enjoyed her Church, family, playing bridge, bowling and making wedding cakes. She was a member of the O.E.S Fidelis Chapter #545 at Nancy, Kentucky for over 50 years and a member of the First Baptist Church of Somerset where she was a faithful member since 1965.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. French Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family of Mrs. June Stewart will receive friends on Friday, November 19, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. with order of Eastern Star Rites to be held at 7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Somerset.
In lieu of flowers family request contributions please be sent to the First Baptist Church General fund in her honor.
