Judith Solomon

November 19, 1944 — December 25, 2016

Judith Ann Solomon, age 72, of Somerset, KY, departed this life on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center. Her wish was to spend one last Christmas together with her family. Judy got her wish and spent her final Christmas surrounded by family and sharing their love one for another.

Judy was born on November 19, 1944 in Richmond, KY to the late Hazel B. Putteet. She loved reading, swimming and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Rusty (and Nancy) Agee of Charlotte, N.C. and Christopher (and Brittany) Solomon of Somerset, KY; two daughters, Denise (and Darrell) Daniels of Stanfield, N.C. and Dawn Michelle (and Ron "Rube") Whitis of Somerset, KY; and five grandchildren, Matthew Whitis, Scott Daniels, Alex Daniels, Courtney Agee and Marley Solomon.

Along with her mother, Hazel B. Putteet and grandmother, Etta Mae "Big Mama" Putteet, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Solomon whom she married in Georgetown, KY on June 23, 1973, and he preceded her on March 7, 2014; and a brother, Bill Putteet.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 after 5:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Rogers officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
