Joseph "Joe Lee" Lee Daulton, age 80, of Somerset, KY, departed this life on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at his residence.

Joseph was born on June 29, 1936, in Nancy, KY, to the late Carson "Jack" and Bessie Sievers Daulton. He was a graduate of Nancy High School, a US Air Force Veteran and a retired iron worker. He loved to garden, harvest pecans, and watch sports; especially UK Basketball. He enjoyed the companionship of his dogs and was especially proud of his grandchildren.

He is survived by a son, Eddie Lee (and Judy) Daulton of Somerset; a daughter, Teresa Lynn (and John) Haynes of Nancy; two brothers, Larry Dean (and Katheleen) Daulton of Nicholasville, KY, and Billy C. (and Sue) Daulton of Nancy; a brother in-law, Wesley Molen of Nancy; two grandsons, Zachary (and Morgan) Absher, and Chandler Absher; a step grandson, Ryan Hargis; two step-granddaughters, Amanda and Emily Haynes; two step-great granddaughters, Riley Hatfield and Jaycee Hargis; also very special nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his former wife, Tamara Brotherton Daulton; and one sister, Bernice Molen.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 1, 2017 after 5:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

His funeral service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. David Pendley officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
