Johnny Hargis Jr

Mr. Johnny William Hargis, Jr. the son of Johnny William Hargis, Sr. and the late Ruth Dalton Hargis, was born October 31, 1957 and he departed this life on Monday, February 12, 2018 having attained the age 60 years.
He was united in marriage to Linda Ping Hargis, she survives. Other survivors include his father, Johnny Hargis, Sr., one daughter, Pam (and John) Sawyrs; two grandsons, Joshua and Nickolas Runyon; his mother-in-law, Madline Ping and brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie (and Karen) Ping and Carolyn (and Bob) Holt.
Johnny had worked at several different employment placed and enjoyed everyone he ever worked with. A few of the places where he worked were; Jerry's Restaurant, Catain D's, Goodwill, Pulaski County Sanitation Department, the Ferguson Fire Department and Pauls Discount to name a few. He was a kind person who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. He leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn his passing.
The family of Mr. Johnny William Hargis, Jr. would like to send a special thank you to the Somerset First United Methodist Church "Congregational Care Ministry" for the support and love given to Johnny and his wife Linda.
A funeral service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, February 15th, at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Basil and Bro. Henry Hull officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family of Johnny Hargis, Jr. will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. Thursday until time for services.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions in loving memory of Johnny Hargis, Jr. to the Somerset First United Methodist Church, 99 South Central Avenue, Somerset, KY 42501.
