Mrs. Joe Ann Shadoan, age 80, of Somerset, departed this life on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Joe Ann was born on November 4, 1936 in Shreveport, LA., to the late Walter and Thelma Frances Burkett Craft. Joe Ann is a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church and loved there Church functions. She was a secretary for the Kentucky Bureau of Highway for 30years.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Shadoan, whom she married on June 28, 1955 in New Albany, IN; a son, Billy Kirk (and Susan) Shadoan of Somerset; two daughters, Lisa Ann Shadoan of Somerset, Jenene Yvonne McKinney of Mt. Vernon, KY; two grandchildren, Joshua Wayne McKinney, and Jacob Wade McKinney; and three great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Odell Craft; and three sisters, Helen Jones, Louise Arnold, and Erine Yvonne Trusty.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bruce Arnold, Glen Benton, Billy Shadoan, Joshua McKinney, Jacob McKinney, and Scott Wooten.
