Joann Norfleet

November 14, 1942 — March 7, 2016

Joann Norfleet, daughter of the late James and Christen Godsey Hartley, was born in New Castle, IN on November 11, 1942, and she departed this life on Monday, March 7, 2016 at her residence having attained the age of 74 years.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Eugene L Norfleet. He preceded her in death. Survivors include; one son, Skip (and Penni Clark) Norfleet, and very special granddaughter, Macy Jo Norfleet. Macy was the apple in Joann's eye. Joann loved her more than life itself.
Joann also loved her extended family, friends and church. She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church and a former city council member for 13 years. She was also a retiree from the Kentucky State Employment services office. She enjoyed politics, and the Somerset Fire Department where both her husband and son served at different times as Fire Chief during their careers
Other than her parents and husband, Joann was also preceded in death by one brother; James "Dood" Hartley.
She was a kind lady who was full of life, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday March 10, 2016 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. David Muse and Rev. Damon Jones officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Visitation for Mrs. Joann Norfleet will be after 11 a.m. Thursday March 10, 2016 until time for funeral services.
