Jina Brummett

Jina Kaye Brummett, age 50, of Nancy, KY., passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020 at UK Medical Center in Lexington.

Jina was born on July 30, 1970 in Somerset, KY., to Janet Yevone Campbell Rainwater and the late Royas “Jesse” Rainwater. She was a Registered Labor and Delivery Nurse for nearly thirty years at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Jina was a member of the Jennies Chapel and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, James Brummett of Nancy; her children, James Brandon Brummett, Jared Tanner Brummett, Jadyn Tyra Brummett, Jessica Yevone Ray Sutton, Jacob Campbell Brummett, and Josie Mae Brummett; and her mother, Janet Rainwater of Nancy, KY.

Jina was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Rainwater and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 after 5:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Her funeral service be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Tyler Ford officiating.  Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
