Jason Hess

Jason Scott Hess, age 52, of Henderson, KY, formerly of Somerset, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024.

Jason was born on July 12, 1971 in Norfolk, VA to Shirley Faye Chrisman Whitson and the late Paul Hess. He was a 1989 graduate of Somerset High School. Jason was saved at Burnside Baptist Church.  He enjoyed reading, music, and poetry in all forms of life.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley (Del) Whitson of Somerset; one uncle, Danny (Brenda) Chrisman of Moyock, N.C.; and a special friend, Kevin Dalton of Nancy, KY.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Hess; maternal grandparents, John (Margaret) Dearmon; and his paternal grandparents, Bob (Mary) Hess.

Visitation for Jason will be on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Hwy 80, Somerset, KY 42503.

His funeral service will follow on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Fisher officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
