Janice Perkins

Ms. Janice Perkins, age 73, of Nancy, passed from this life on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was born December 13, 1943 in Mintonville, Kentucky, daughter to the late Estelle Fox and Pauline Dalton Fox. Janice retired from Southwestern High School where she worked as a cook. She enjoyed spending time her family, quilting, but above all she loved playing bingo. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents; she is preceded in death by her husband; Johnnie Perkins, brothers; Carl Dennis Fox, and Jerry Fox, sister; Lena Fox and Judy Hall.

Janice leaves behind to cherish her precious memories her son; Johnnie Jr. (Marilyn) Perkins, daughters; Patsy Bradbury of Sharonville, Ohio, and Beverly Covert of Nancy, Kentucky, brothers; Larry Wayne Fox of Liberty, Kentucky, Michael (Liz) Fox of Russell County, Kentucky, Bill (Janice Shelton) Fox of Burnside, Kentucky, sisters; Sally Jane (Steve) Mefford of Alexandria, Kentucky, and Wanda Sue Singleton of Danville, Kentucky, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 5 o'clock p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, October 2, 2017 at 11 o'clock a.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
