James Adams

James V. "Jamup" Adams, 78, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010 at his residence.

He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on February 6, 1932, son of the late Finley and Anna West Adams. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by three sons, Glenn C. & (Diane) Rowe Adams, Woody & (Debbie) Rowe Adams and Steve & (Traci) Rowe Adams, all of Eubank, two daughters, Teresa Roberts of Science Hill and Anna Porter Adams of Eubank, four brothers, Russell W. Adams of Science Hill, Elbert Adams of Woodstock, Oscar Adams of Burnside and Leslie Adams of Woodstock, three sisters, Allene Fetter of Cincinnati, OH, Mary Gilland of Sharonville, OH and Brenda Adams of Frankfort, KY, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Lucille Troxtel Adams, who died on December 12, 2009, his parents, one sister, Joyce Rose Bullock and five brothers, Carl, Hartford, Norman, Ed "Honey" and Lester Adams.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
