Harold Ragle

December 31, 1946 — November 17, 2020

Harold Ray Ragle, age 73, of Bronston, KY, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.

Harold was born on December 31, 1946, in Burnside, KY to the late Vernon Ragle and Katie Bunch Ragle.  He worked as a Supply clerk at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital before his retirement. Before that he worked at Holiday Inn for twenty eight years as a cook and at Bob Evans as a cook.

He is survived by one step-son, Steve Salder of Atlanta, GA; one step-daughter, Rhonda Frodge of Columbia, KY; three step grandchildren; two brothers, John (and Judy) Ragle of Corbin and Junior (and Kathy) Ragle of Bronston; four sisters, Lucille Troxtell of Ferguson, Betty (and Bertie) Hughes of Bronston, Debbie Carrender of Burnside, and Kathy Ping of Burnside; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Ann Girdler Ragle, who passed on March 17, 2008; one infant sister, Norma Ruth Ragle; one brother, Melvin Ragle; and many uncles and aunts.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10:00am at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Adam Evans officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
