Glen Hale

Glen L. Hale, age 84, of Somerset, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Fairoaks Nursing Home, Jamestown, KY. Glen was born on December 20, 1939 in Poplarville, KY to Howard Hale and Edith Edwards Hale. He married Lorraine Flynn Hale. Glen worked in maintenance at Southern Belle Dairy. He was of the Baptist faith and served his country in the United States Army. 

Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Hale; his grandson, Leighton Coffey; sister-in-law, Zellene Large; and extended family members including two special nephews, James Large and Tony Large. 

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Edith Hale; his daughter, Kimberly Hale; and his sister, Nancy Warren. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Hwy 80, Somerset, KY 42503. The funeral Service will follow on Wednesday, June 19th at 1:00 with Bro. Gary Clark officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
