Gertrude “Gertie” Hall age 77, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Monday, November 30, 2020 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Gertie was born February 8, 1943 to Edna Bates Hunt in Knott County, Kentucky.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of 20 years where she also taught Sunday School Class, she loved her Bible, loved to cook,

loved flowers but most off all cherished her family.

Gertie was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Hunt, father, Mallard Hunt and daughter, Brandy Hall.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Ellis R. Hall, daughter, Lovena Price (Keith) of Somerset, Renea Burton (Scottie) of Nancy, son, Brian Hall (Krystal) of Somerset, grandchildren, Mandy Abney, Kami Bumpus, Brandy Hall, Keegun Hall, Keyauna Hall, Alexis Hall, Aaron Scott Burton, Kynley Hall, Chance Hall, and great-granddaughter, Madison Abney.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. David Muse officiating, burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church or Gideon Bible Fund.

Due to COVID restrictions a total of 25 people per room, facial mask coverings, and social distancing will be enforced.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Gertrude “Gertie” Hall.
