Eventus Muse

May 6, 1934 — November 23, 2010

Mr. Eventus "Andy" Muse, son of the late Walter and Nannie Halcomb Muse, was born at Naomi, KY on May 6, 1934 and he departed this life on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in the presence of his beloved family. He had attained the age of 76 years.

He was united in marriage to Mrs. Shirley Ann Hughes Muse, she survives. Other survivors include; one son, Vince (and Ann) Muse of Gainesville, FL; two daughters, Michele (and Eddie) Gaines and Angela (and Jason) Burton all of Somerset, KY; eight grandchildren, Joshua and Alex Muse, Brittany, Megan, and Holly Gaines, and Brad, Natalie and Addison Burton; two brothers, Will (and Joan) Muse of Somerset, KY and Amos (and Nancy) Muse of Cincinnati, OH; two sisters, Leah Fern Hacker and Nova (and Wilbur) Oakes all of Somerset, KY.and his mother-in law, Bernice Hughes.

Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by; his step-mother, Nellie Trimble Muse; three brothers, Denver, and Medith Muse and Dormas Muse who died in infancy; four sisters, Juanita Floyd, Montie Daws, Velma Ard and Pansy Mosley and his father-in-law, Mr. Wilburn Hughes and one step-brother, Mr. D. B. Trimble.

When "Andy" was active, he worked in Cincinnati, Ohio as a machinist in the Steel working industry. He was a wonderful person, and a devoted husband, dad and papaw. One of his favorite things to do in life was spending time with his grandchildren, he also enjoyed gardening, being outside and cooking, and he was well known for his Cincinnati Chili and Butterfinger Cake. "Andy was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him, he leaves a host of relatives, and friends who mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Eventus "Andy" Muse will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Walden and Rev. Ron Vernatter officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

The family of Mr. Muse will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2010. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Building Fund of the New Life Church of God in Ferguson, KY
