Emogene Calhoun

Pearl Emogene Calhoun, age 83, of Florence, KY and formerly of Somerset, KY, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Florence Hospital.

Emogene was born on September 30, 1934 in Nancy, KY to the late Clarence Bradley and Olga Swanson Bradley. She was a cook for many years at Crestview Nursing Home. Emogene enjoyed cooking, doing needlework and puzzles. She loved her children and grandchildren and was very proud of them all.

She is survived by three daughters, Beverly Dold (Wes Dold) of Edgewater, FL, Barbara Wooton of Florence, KY and Claudette Meece of Middleville, MI; two brothers, Jimmy Bradley of West Chester, OH and Jerrold Bradley of Lakeland, FL; two sisters, Lois Emerson of Russell Springs, KY and Janis Phelps of Somerset, KY; six grandchildren, Sean & Adam Wooton, Jamie Rives & Lindsey (Rives) Hosford, and Joshua & Brad Meece; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Lee Calhoun; sister-in-law, Darlene Bradley; brother-in-law, Ivan Emerson; and one granddaughter, Laura Michelle Flynn.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Her funeral service will follow on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral with Bro. Don Jones officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
