Dorene Tarter

Dorene Tarter, daughter of the late Elcus and Rosa Clifton Floyd was born July 27, 1932 and she departed this life on May 6, 2021 at the Jean Waddle Care Center having attained the age of 88 years.

She was united in marriage to Mr. Logan Tarter, he preceded her in death on May 14, 2019.

Survivors include; one daughter, Karen R. Johnson of Nancy, KY; and a granddaughter, Angela M. Johnson.

Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by; three sisters, Glenna Tarter, Zinnie Todd and Geneva Rice.

She was a kind Christian lady. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, working in her flowers and working in her garden.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

The family of Mrs. Dorene Tarter will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until time for services.
