Della Garner

Della Married Harvey C Garner in 1958 and became a proud, independent, Airforce wife who supported her husband and family through their many station reassignments. She took care of her children and kept a beautiful home while her husband was deployed. Della was a sophisticated lady with impeccable manners and instilled this in her children as well.  She taught Kindergarten at Manhattan Baptist Kiddie College and was an award winning teacher. Della was an active member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a teacher and leader of one of their women's groups and sang in the choir where she performed solo with her lovely soprano voice. Della had a passion for flowers and gardening and at one time owned a greenhouse. She loved all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much and her love and affection will be missed by them.

She leaves behind her daughters; Stephanie (Benny) Patterson, and Yvonne Louise ( Gerald Ray) Roberts. five grandchildren; Renee` A. Yanders, Lorrie C ( Brian ) Hanners, Valerie A. ( Michael) Cook, Christopher Lee (Heather) Roberts, and Benjamin (Katie) Patterson, seven great grandchildren; Landon Hanners, Jackson Hanners, Owen Hanners, Lucy Cook, Monroe Cook, Emersyn Roberts, Bennett Roberts, and one sister; Patricia Caylor as well as a special nephew, David Lee Caylor.

Della was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harvey C Garner, her brothers; Jackie Caylor and Jimmy Caylor and one sister Vivian Lee Caylor.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 AM till time for services.

A funeral service will be held on Monday January 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Chris Jasper officiating.

Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
