Della Mae Byrd, age 85, of Somerset, KY., departed this life on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at her residence.
Della was born on June 7, 1932 in Alpine, KY., to the late Robert and Leatha Hansford Heath.
She is survived by one brother, Guy H. Heath of Brookville, IN., two sisters, Gloria (and Robert) McDaniel of Burnside, KY and Faye (and Roger) Smith of Cary, NC., and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Byrd, of whom she married on December 22, 1973 in Cincinnati, OH and four sisters, Betty Lois Heath, Jewell Whitaker, Ruby Taylor, and Margie Wallace.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11:00am at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Graveside Service for Della will be on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 12:00pm at Lakeside Memorial Gardens with Bro. Roger Dykes officiating.
