Curtis Hensley

Mr. Curtis Hensley, 81, of Somerset, son of the late Milton and Edna Burk Holder Hensley was born on May 8, 1930 in Clay-Morgan, Virginia and departed this life on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 in the McCreary County Health Care Facility in Pine Knot, Ky.

Other than his parents, Mr. Hensley was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde and Jim, and three sisters; Barb, Hester and Garnet.

Mr. Hensley is survived by his wife, Emily Irene Hensley, whom he married on July 6, 1950 in Harlan, Ky.; one son, Joey (and Diana) Hensley of Somerset, Ky.; one daughter, Rhonda (and Gregory) Prezbindowski of New Carlisle, Ind.; one brother, Delmer (and Anita) Hensley of Russell Springs; two sisters, Dorothy Winn of Everts, Ky., and Jackie (and Tom) Horn of West Lafayette, Ind. Mr. Hensley also leaves behind eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing.

Mr. Hensley was a member of Dixie Bend Baptist Church and was retired from Ford Motor Company; he also was a Coal Miner and enjoyed Farming.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Dunbar officiating.

Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 23, 2012 after 9:30 a.m. until time for services at Pulaski Funeral Home.
