Charles C. Williams Jr, 91, of Somerset passed away January 1, 2016 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born September 9, 1924 in Somerset, KY to the late Charles C. and Mossie Wright Williams Sr. Charles was united in marriage to Betty Lee Gregory Williams. He was the General Chairman at IBEW, AFL-CIO and a WWII Veteran. Charles enjoyed horses, dogs and wildlife.

He is survived by his sons; Charles "Bill" C. Williams III (Rose), Ronald "Ronnie" Williams (Patricia), James Patrick "Pat" Williams, Curtis Lee Williams (Judy) all of Chattanooga, TN, Terry Williams (Terri) of Towson, MD, and his daughter Susan Diane Owens (Andy) of Chattanooga, TN. , sisters; Mary Cummins of Knoxville, TN, Charlotte Daughetee of Chattanooga, TN and Beverly Gill (Earl) of London, KY, sister in law Barbara Williams of Somerset, KY, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers; Robert "Bob" Williams and James "Jim" Williams and sister, Eleanor Jackson.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 4-7 pm at Somerset Undertaking Co. & Crematory.

A celebration honoring the life of Charles will be held Monday, January 4, 2016 at 11:00 am at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking Co. & Crematory with Rev. Joe Altman officiating.

Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Somerset Undertaking Co. & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
