Charles J. Broadway, 86, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
He was born in Ardmore, Alabama on April 25, 1932, son of the late Charles Alton and Lottie McCowen Broadway. He was a farmer and a heavy equipment operator for Codell Construction.
He is survived by two sons, Tommy Broadway & (Wanda) and Joe Hill & (Kathy), two daughters, Debi Dykes & (Mark Shufflebarger) and Theresa Higgins, three brothers, Ralph, Robert and Donnie, three sisters, Gerene, Louise and Loraine and several beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Labelle Hill Broadway, who died on October 7, 2017, his parents, two sons, Gene Broadway and Charles "Chuck" Hill, two daughters, Violet Ahr and Lillian "Diane" Goins, four sisters, Christine, Shirley, Connie and Betty and three brothers, Donald, Howard and Herman.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, April 30, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 11:30 AM at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
