Carolyn W. Abner, 72, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016.
She was born in Georgetown, South Carolina on March 12, 1943, daughter of the late Willie and Elizabeth Bath Benton. She was a shipping clerk for Kimball International and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, James Abner of Eubank, two sons, Bobby Abner and Michael Abner, both of Somerset, three daughters, Kim & (Ricky) Crowe of Junction City, KY, Robin Abner of Pelion, SC and Debra & (Bennie) Godbey of Somerset, two brothers, Tommy Wood of South Carolina and Willie Benton, II of Georgia, ten grandchildren, Alicia Godbey, Chris Godbey, Brian Kennedy, Aaron Crowe, Jason Crowe, Russell Abner, Christian Abner, Haley Abner, Joe Abner and Rachael Bragg, three great-grandchildren, Kaleb Godbey, Dalton Godbey and Maleaha Godbey and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Sue Dunn.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Abner and Bro. Dallas Burton officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 10 AM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
