Ardyth Ray Prather "Trae"

Ardyth Ray Prather, III. “Trae”, 43, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away on November 7, 2023 at his residence.

He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on May 28, 1980; son of JoAnn Marie Prather and the Ardyth Ray Prather, Jr. He was a graduate of Science Hill School in 1994; a 1998 Somerset High School graduate, a former employee of the Kentucky Department of Transportation and a member of Ferguson Baptist Church.

He is survived by mother, JoAnn Marie Prather; sister, Brandi Prather; one son; one daughter; one granddaughter; three nieces, Bennett Tucker, Bryce Tucker, and Bradley Tucker; aunt, Debbie (Prather) Knecht and her husband Tom Knecht; step grandfather Dallas Hafley; and several cousins.

He was preceded death by father, Ardyth Ray Prather, Jr.; grandfather, Ardyth Ray Prather, grandmother, Mary Margaret "Moogie" (Sexton) (Prather) Hafley; grandmother Deloris (Leonard) McReynolds.

Pallbearers will be: Kyle Lefler, Joseph Anderson, Casey Newell, Jay Owens, Dusty Owens, James "Bull" Sears.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 1, 2023 at First Baptist Church with Pastor James Barleston, Pastor Steve Dunn, Brother Steve Bates officiating.

Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends after 11:00 AM on Friday, December 1, 2023 at First Baptist Church until time for services.
